Office Manager / Vet Assistant
I have always been an animal lover and have wanted to work with animals all my life. I have a rescued cat named Oscar. I started my career in 2001 and have been working at Baccalieu Trail Animal Hospital since 2008. I have worked in all areas of the clinic including kennel, reception, surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, and as an emergency and clinical assistant. What I love most about my job is that it’s fast-paced and interesting work; you learn something new every day! You get to see animals come back from being very sick, to being their normal happy self. My plan for the future is to further my career in veterinary medicine. I enjoy keeping up with the developments and advancements that happen in the veterinary field and sharing that information with our clients. The areas of veterinary medicine that interest me the most are neurology and radiology.
