I originate from Botwood Newfoundland and growing up I always had a passion for animals. After finishing high school I pursued this passion and in 2006 graduated with a degree in animal science at the Dalhousie University Agricultural Campus. From there I went on to become a veterinarian and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2011. I returned back to Newfoundland in 2012 where I started working at the Baccalieu Trail Animal Hospital. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Veterinarian John Ruffino, and our children Sophia and Zane.
